You have purchased a Samsung Blackjack, but are having difficulties figuring out how to use its numerous features. Here, you will find a brief Samsung Blackjack user manual, advising users on how to best go about getting the most out of their Samsung Blackjack.
First off, let us supposed that you would like to make a conference call on your Samsung Blackjack mobile phone. In order to do this in standby mode, dial the number for the first individual you wish to call; press the SEND button. Once you get that person on the line, ask them to hold. Press SEND once again in order to put them on hold. Then dial the phone number of the second individual you wish to include in the call; press the SEND button. Once the second individual answers, press the SEND button once again; all three parties will then be connected. Keep in mind that if you hang up the phone, the other two parties will also be disconnected – that is because you are the originator of the conference call. If one of the two people you are talking to disconnects, however, you and the other individual will remain connected.
Suppose you wish to use call waiting on your Samsung Blackjack device. If you are in the middle of a call, you will hear a tone to signify that you are simultaneously receiving another call. The Call Waiting icon will flash across your display. In order to accept the second call and put your first call on hold, simply press the ACCEPT key. In order to go back to your first call, simply hit the OPTIONS soft key and choose SWAP. This puts the second call on hold. If you do not with to accept the second call, simply hit the REJECT soft key. Please note that in order for call waiting to work, it must first be activated.
In order to activate call waiting on your Samsung Blackjack, you have to first press START in standby mode. Then select SETTINGS. Next, select PHONE. Select VOICE CALLS, then CALL WAITING. Then, choose to activate CALL WAITING. Afterwards, simply hit the DONE soft key in order to save your settings.
If you have call waiting enabled but want to make a call that will not be interrupted, simply press *70 before making the call. This will ensure that you will not be interrupted, but does not change your settings, either, so that call waiting will be resumed after you hang up.
Keep in mind that if call waiting does not function on your model, that may be because it has not been enabled by your service provider. Make sure that you arrange with your service provider beforehand for call waiting on your Samsung Blackjack.
If you want to make a call on your Samsung Blackjack during a call, simply press the right soft key for MENU. Then select MUTE/UNMUTE in order to turn off the microphone on the handset to maintain privacy. To unmute your Samsung Blackjack, simply follow the same directions.
